Utility Associate
Arnold Machine Inc., Tiffin, OH is a full-service designer and manufacturer of high-quality, innovative automated equipment. Arnold Machine, Inc. is a team of experienced engineers and machine tradesmen that can design and build virtually any type of customized automated equipment. We are currently seeking a meticulous, self-motivated individual to join our team to assist in the upkeep of our facility and deliveries to and from vendors and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination with Departments to meet pickup and delivery dates.
- Execute delivery routes.
- Load and Unload trucks for delivery and pickups.
- Ensure delivered and received products meet quality standards.
- Secure and submit accurate shipping documents to appropriate personnel for pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with all Arnold Machine departments, vendors, and customers.
- Purchase supplies as requested.
- Perform general building maintenance.
- Empty steel hoppers, shovel snow at man doors, exit light testing, eyewash inspections, minor building repairs and maintenance, set up/clean up for company functions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct an independent quality inspection of one's own work.
Requirements
- Knowledge of building maintenance.
- Experience operating various types of building equipment and hand tools.
- Floor scrubber, sweeper
- Ability to operate a forklift, training will be provided.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly. Sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching is required.
- Must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings with varying temperatures.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to interact professionally among all departments.
- Positive attitude with the ability to adapt to change.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Schedule: 7am-3pm, 4-5 days per week (Monday-Thursday, based on workload demand)
Status: Full time 32-40 hours
