The 8RB50 custom parts washer allows you to clean dirty parts more thoroughly with the least amount of time and labor invested. Arnold Machine builds our parts washers with high-quality components to ensure a long lifespan while standing up to the harshest operating conditions.

This parts washing machine is ideal for washing extremely small parts or parts that can be fit into a basket that is roughly 15” long, 9” wide, and 4” tall. The inside of the baskets can be partitioned to hold a wide range of parts - to prevent movement or parts knocking against each other.Typical applications can include fastener manufacturing, automotive components, or anything that can fit inside the basket.

We fabricate our parts washers in our 75,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Tiffin, Ohio. Our expert engineers, programmers, electricians, and machine tradesmen will custom-design and build an 8RB50 to solve your toughest parts washing challenges.

8RB50 Specs and Features

The 8RB50 custom parts washer offers an impressive list of features that allow you to achieve ultra-high cleanliness levels. 

Specs and features include:

  • You can change the time and temperature for a wash/rinse and dry-off cycles via the HMI at any time
  • Can wash 8 baskets at a time, typically in a four-over-four configuration
  • A typical cycle is heat and wash, heat and rinse, then heat and dry
  • Optional chemical monitoring and chemical addition are available
  • Ultrasonics can be added for “ultra-cleaning” purposes
  • Baskets that hold the parts being washed can: 
    • Hold bulk parts that can tumble against one another
    • Be compartmentalized to hold parts individually to prevent damage to sensitive parts
  • We can integrate an oil coalescer with any wash system that we provide to prolong the life of the wash solution
  • We can implement a freshwater rinse after the wash stage or rinse stage
  • Arnold Machine proudly supports all of our parts washers through our dedicated Ohio service team and can send out technicians to your location to perform troubleshooting and repairs

Our rotary basket parts washers one of our most popular washing systems.  They are ideal for precision, batch, and ultrasonic cleaning.  Often used for fuel systems, they are effective solutions for anything that requires precision cleaning.. Case Study: A Faster and More Thorough Clean 

A leading heavy-duty construction equipment manufacturer was experiencing an increased rate of parts failures in the field.

Challenge

After troubleshooting the problem, the manufacturer determined their components were not getting cleaned as thoroughly as they should have been when going through their existing cleaning equipment. The company approached Arnold Machine and asked us to improve their corporate parts cleaning.

Solution

Our team of engineers and technicians met with the company’s team of experts and designed a machine that could meet or exceed their cleaning specifications.

To reinforce cleanliness specifications, the engineers incorporated Ultrasonic cleaning into the wash and rinse stage. The ultrasonic transducers emit micron-sized bubbles, which travel into holes and internal passageways on the parts and explode on the contamination, breaking them free and allowing the water to wash them away.

By adding these elements and partnering with the company’s team, we designed and built a system we were confident could routinely meet their cleanliness specification. After test runs and client approval, we installed the machine on their manufacturing floor. Once fully installed, their components were cleaned more thoroughly than ever before—exceeding their original standard!

Data

The client was able to Millipore test their parts and hold a tighter clean spec which became their new standard. It exceeded their toughest clean spec with a maximum particle size of 75 x 75 x 750 microns.

Results

They now own over 30 similar machines for their critical clean applications across multiple manufacturing locations.
